Mini 60 Year Edition – Celebrating 60th year of Mini

Mini are celebrating the brands 60th anniversary, to compliment this they have released the ’60 Year Edition’ Mini.

This special edition will be available from March 2019 onwards in both 3 and 5 door in a model that highlights it’s British origins and Mini character.

Although the preferred exterior colour is British Racing Green IV to clearly express the Minis original character, you can also spec Midnight Black metallic, Moonwalk Grey metallic, Melting Silver metallic and MINI Yours Lapisluxury Blue non-metallic, complimented by either a black or white roof.

A 60 year edition logo is present on the left hand bonnet stripe, near the indicators and on the sill trims for the front doors. Inside it features on the front headrests and steering wheel.

Standard equipment includes a sports leather steering wheel along with sports seats in the leather finish ‘MINI Yours Leather Lounge 60 Years’ and the exclusive colour Dark Maroon. The edition vehicles also have LED headlights, LED fog lamps, white turn indicators and LED rear lights in Union Jack design, the lighting package for the interior and also the MINI Driving Modes and the MINI Excitement Package complete with ambient lighting. There is also an on-board computer, automatic air conditioning, a rain sensor.

It’s offered with a choice of 2 petrol engines and 2 diesel engines ranging from 136hp to 192hp.

We think it looks to be a fitting tribute to this truly iconic British brand. Get your skates on mate.

    That’s a gorgeous car. Although it would have been very cool if they had actually made a classic mini with modern trimmings and equipment. Still, i’d have one!!!
