Citroën have revealed the pricing and specs for the new C5 Aircross due to go on sale 3rd of December 2018 with prices starting from £23,225 OTR with Citroën’s new suspension system with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions standard across the range for that unique Citroën ride.
Offered in 3 trim levels, Feel, Flair and Flair Plus with additional personalisation options. All models recieve a 12.3 inch cluster display and an 8 inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with mirror screen functions such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink standard on all models.
Safety features are abound with 20 in total. Advanced Active Safety Brake, Active Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind Spot Monitoring, Collision Risk Warning and Citroën Connect Box emergency & assistance system as standard on all models.
Additional equipment such as Highway Driver Assist – a level-two autonomous driving system – Extended Traffic Sign Recognition and Speed Recommendation, and Intelligent Beam Headlights (standard on Flair Plus versions), which can steer between lanes, accelerate and brake for you.
You can get personal with C5 Aircross as there is a total of 30 exterior colour combinations thanks to 7 body colours, Polar White (standard colour), along with optional shades Volcano Red (Pearlescent), Cumulus Grey (Metallic), Platinum Grey (Metallic), Tijuca Blue (Metallic) , Perla Nera Black (Pearlescent) and Pearl White (Pearlescent).
with contrasting roof on the flair trim models and three colour packs with coloured inserts on the front bumper, Airbump panels and under the roof bars: Anodised Silver Colour Pack (standard specification), Anodised White and Anodised Red Colour Packs are optional across the range.
There are 3 interior colour packs to choose from, The Standard Ambiance is Silica Grey cloth seat upholstery combined with a light grey strip at the top of the seat backs as standard on Feel versions.
The Metropolitan Grey is a tone-on-tone colour scheme – Grey Grained leather and Graphite cloth seat upholstery with a dark grey strip on the seat backs. Standard on Flair and Flair Plus also optional on Feel.
The Hype Brown is the top of the range pack which includes Brown Nappa leather and black leather-effect seat upholstery with a light grey Alcantara strip at the top of the seat backs for extra contrast. The brown console, dashboard inserts and instrument panel hood combine with a two-tone black/brown full-leather steering wheel. Option on Flair and Flair Plus models.
Powered by a choice of 2 petrol engines or 2 diesel engines. PureTech 130 is a 128bhp 3 cylinder Petrol available as manual only whilst the PureTech 180 is only available with an 8 speed automatic gearbox.
The diesels are either BlueHDi 130 or 180 with the 130 being manual with the option of the 8 speed auto whilst the 180 only comes in automatic.
C5 Aircross will also be the first Citroën model with PHEV Plug-In Hybrid technology which will arrive in early 2020.
