Porsche powers out with 2 new sportier editions of the Panamera.
Both models get a more powerful version of the 4.0 bi-turbo now pushing out 460hp and max torque of 620nm. Using All wheel drive with Porsche Traction Management and the delightful twin clutch 8 speed PDK gearbox, the GTS Sprints from 0 – 62mph in just 4.1 seconds. GTS reaching 181mph and GTS Sport Turismo 179mph.
These models come with a sports chassis and 3 chamber active air suspension as standard that works along side a sportier calibrated PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) with a 10mm lower ride height that Porsche says offers “Outstanding Lateral Dynamics”. It handles well then?
The new models also get an upgraded look, with dark trim across the vehicle offers a racier aesthetic, coupled with, as standard, 20 inch wheels.
The interior gets a boost thanks to Alcantara and anodised aluminium trim, along with a heated multi function steering wheel, again as standard. There is an optional interior GTS package where you can choose design elements such as GTS Stitching and Logos and a different rev counter.
Most notably these get a Head Up display, the very first time this has been seen in the Panamera range since first released.
